Kevin "Tiny" Lovejoy -
vocals,
harmonica

Kevin, who fronts the band, formed
the Kingpins in March of 1997. He
performed with Ft Worth blues
legend Robert Ealey, who along
with Dallas guitarist Tommy Hyatt,
gave "Tiny" his nickname. Kevin
has also performed with bands
including Smokehouse and Second
Hand Soul. He is a natural
entertainer, a powerful and soulful
singer, and a rocking harp player.
Tiny claims to be the "biggest Van
Morrison fan" and, along with the
other Kingpins, shows his
appreciation for the Belfast Cowboy
in covers of "Brown Eyed Girl",
"Wild Nights", "Crazy Love" and of
course "Tupelo Honey". Kevin has
written several original songs for
Tiny and the Kingpins including
"Blues Make Me Happy", "Two
Minute Warning" and "How Dumb
Do You Think I Am?".

Johnny is a proud, original member of Tiny and the
Kingpins. This kingpin provides that steady beat
that always keeps the group on rhythm. He’s been
on stage, playing live gigs, off and on, with different
bands and different styles his entire life. In 2001 he
called a time out in order to teach and operate
lights/sound for various local bands. Back from his
three year hiatus, in 2004 he reunited with Tiny and
the band. He really loves playing the Kingpin’s
song list with a great group of guys. His mother is a
classically trained pianist, his brother is a
percussionist, and his two daughters sing, play
and act. His musical family creates a foundation
that motivates his passionate hobby.
Johnny plays: DW Drums (8”, 10”, 12”, 14”, 16”, 7”
x13” edge snaredrum, and 22”x20” kickdrum),
Zildjian A Custom Symbols, 13” Z Hats, a 22” K
Custom Ride, Evans G2 Drumheads, a  Evans
Genera Dry Batter Snare Head, an Evans Emad
Powerstroke Bass Drumhead, Shure 57s, and a
AKG D1 May Internal Miking system. Sticks:
Promarks, "The Natural" 747 and 747B with Nylon
tips.
Bill provides the solid musical foundation for Tiny
and the Kingpins. His association with the band
goes all the way back to their early days. As a
frequent participant in open jams hosted by Tiny
and the Kingpins, he had many opportunities to sit
in with the band. This led to an increasing amount
of fill-in gigs before Bill joined the band full-time in
January 2003. His own musical tastes lean toward
blues and classic rock, so he was a perfect fit with
the band. Originally from the Chicago area, Bill is
the only Kingpin who is a "naturalized" Texan
rather than a native.
A guitar virtuoso heavily influenced by Jimi
Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Billy Gibbons, Steve
Vai, Freddie King and B.B. King, that has garnered
the admiration of musicians all over, and has made
him a favorite among Dallas audiences.
In 1980, Alan joined the band "Kenny and the
Kasuals" as their lead guitarist. With this
opportunity, Alan was able to dazzle Texas
audiences with his incredible guitar solos. Alan
has opened for such great acts as George
Thorougood, John Kay and Steppenwolf, Tommy
Tutone, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Grand Funk
Railroad, Little Feat, Joe Walsh and others. When
the Hard Rock Café had its grand opening in
Dallas, Alan had the privilege of using his fantastic
guitar skills to back up Chuck Berry and Paul
Shafer of
Late Night With David Letterman.
After a 20+ year friendship with Tiny, the Kingpins
were able to acquire his guitar wizardry full time for
the last few years.
If you are a Dallas Maverick fan you have no doubt
heard one of Alan's most recent works, "Mavs
Shuffle", on locally broadcast basketball games.
